About Redpath Buchanan
Whilst Redpath Buchanan was established as a trading name as recently as 1964, the history of our company dates back to the late 19th century. Originally starting as a Steeplejack company, our natural progression into the field of Lightning Protection has led to the company being able to specialise in these and other related fields.
Throughout that time Redpath Buchanan has continued to maintain the traditionally high standards of service and quality workmanship, adapting with changing technologies to accommodate and take advantage of the very latest computer aided technology in all aspects of design and manufacture.
Today Redpath Buchanan is widely acknowleged as one of the UK's leaders in the design, installation and maintenance of Lightning Protection systems. Our reputation has been built on our philosophy of maintaining a happy and committed specialist workforce.
With a diverse client base we are on the Approved Lists and Supply Chain of many large Construction and M&E companies, hold security clearance for many restricted sites and are willing to undertake CRB checks of all of our staff if required.
Our flexible approach and willingness to help our clients where possible has been rewarded by repeat business, some clients have remained with us for over 30 years and more.
Our operations staff hold CSCS cards and we are committed to the training and continuous development of all staff members.
The hard work and commitment of the workforce was rewarded at the beginning of 2001, when we received Her Majesty the Queen's Royal Warrant for the supply of Lightning Protection, an award that all involved with the company were extremely proud to have received.
In 2002 we were very pleased to open our South West office, based in Devon.
